Footsteps
of Peace

Who We Are

Footsteps of Peace is part of a nationwide initiative promoting peace, forgiveness and reconciliation in our communities through music and art.

Nelson Mandela's legacy is at the heart of the Footsteps of Peace.

It is our mission:
  • To bring the spirit of reconciliation and positivity to communities throughout the US and the world through world-‐class music and arts  events.
  • To present and honor the great humanitarians of the world: local regional, national and international.
  • To educate the public as to the qualities of humanitarian greatness.
  • To issue a call to follow in the footsteps of those great humanitarians.
  • To create a groundswell of people whose consciousness has been raised by the Footsteps programming.

The FOOTSTEPS experience asks its audiences to reconcile and forgive one another and promote world peace by walking in the footsteps of great leaders such as Nelson Mandela. The process is emotional, spiritual, and intellectual. Footsteps calls on all people to embrace this journey through its musical productions.

The success of Footsteps will be shown by example.  The goal of Footsteps of Peace was not and is not to promise something that cannot be delivered but to create reasonable, realistic outcomes that show people that it is possible to put great art, people, a great cause, a positive message, in a room, and walk out later as changed people for the better.
In conclusion, we now take a giant step forward with Nelson Mandela as our great inspiration and guiding light. FOOTSTEPS OF PEACE will move forward with our dream to cross every racial and ethnic boundary to reach out with our program to people all around the world.  We invite you to join with us in this journey.
